4th International Neonatal & Maternal Immunization Symposium

4th INTERNATIONAL NEONATAL & MATERNAL IMMUNIZATION SYMPOSIUM
Towards Integrating Maternal and Infant Immunization Programs

Following the great success of the three previous International Neonatal and Maternal Immunization Symposia (INMIS) in Turkey in 2010 and 2013, and The Gambia in 2015 we are pleased to announce the 4th INMIS which will take place in Brussels, Belgium, from September 10-12, 2017. This very central European location will bring together scientists, clinicians and public health experts from all continents to present, discuss and debate the opportunities and challenges that maternal and neonatal immunization can bring.

The symposium will provide up to date information on key areas in maternal and neonatal immunization. Latest progress on the basic science underpinning maternal and neonatal immunization will be summarized. The most recent data from large vaccine trials and vaccines under development will be presented, covering both current and new targets for immunization. Safety, awareness and perception of immunization of pregnant women and neonates will be discussed. The implementation of maternal and neonatal immunization worldwide will be debated.

Interactive panel discussions will feature throughout the 3 days and will involve researchers, delegates of international funding agencies and of industry. Attended by international leaders in the field, the symposium promises once again to provide a comprehensive scientific and practical update for all those with an interest in maternal and neonatal infection, immunity and vaccination.
