On October 20th 2017 Flanders Vaccine is happy to host its second edition of “Immunity for Health”: the Flanders Vaccine annual flagship event where all stakeholders, both from the human and animal health sector, working in the field of immunology, vaccinology, immune-oncology and infectious diseases are invited to meet, interact and start collaborations.

Flanders Vaccine and BioWin are happy to invite you to a matchmaking event on October 19th 2017 in Antwerp. The objective of this event is to build a bridge between important actors in the field of immunology, vaccinology, immunotherapy and clinical research from Flanders and Wallonia or even abroad.

You are kindly invited to join other academics, public health professionals and regulatory agency officials at the first colloquium on heterologous prime-boost vaccination in Leuven, Belgium, on 29 September 2017.

In the last years the use of autogenous vaccines has increased significantly. The reasons are manifold: reduction of antibiotics, non-availability of licensed vaccines, reactivity to some genetic evolution of the pathogen, presence of a large variety of antigens in the field not covered by licensed vaccines, either in general or for a certain species.

The new law on clinical trials has been published in the Belgian Official Gazette (Moniteur belge/Belgisch Staatsblad) on 22 May 2017.
